Tonya Hardzinski
Bio
Tonya graduated from Chatham College with a BA in Political Science and later pursed a Masters in Secondary Education from Black Hills State University after earning an MA in History at Old Dominion University so she could become a certified teacher. Over the years, she taught many grades and subjects, but her most recent position involved teaching American Government and Economics to high school seniors.
In 2021, Tonya decided to go to law school to be able to help others solve their legal problems. She is currently a 3L at Regent University School of Law and a law clerk at The Griffin Law Firm. Tonya earned a Dean’s Scholarship and is an active member of the Regent Law Trial Advocacy Board where she is learning the art of trial advocacy and procedural litigation. She is also Secretary of the Public Interest Legal Advocates of Regent (“PILAR”) organization on campus. In PILAR, Tonya works to bring awareness to public interest law and help others gain experience in the field.
Tonya is passionate about finding solutions to people’s legal problems and defending people’s rights in a variety of situations. After graduation, she plans on taking the Virginia Bar and practicing locally as well as on the federal level in criminal, military, and employment law cases.
